Offline Music - Melvio
Privacy Policy
Last updated May 24, 2026
We designed Offline Music - Melvio to work without an account, so there is very little about you for us to collect. This page explains, in plain terms, what is handled and why.
The short version
- No sign-up. We never ask for your name, email, or phone number.
- Your library, playlists, downloads, and history live on your device — not our servers.
- Free users see ads; subscribers don't. Ads are the only feature that touches advertising identifiers.
- We never see your payment details — Apple handles all purchases.
1What we collect
- Nothing that identifies you directly. There is no account and no profile.
- On-device content. Searches, playlists, downloaded tracks, and AI creations are stored locally and stay with you.
- AI prompts. Text you type into the generator is sent to our processing partner to produce the result you asked for, and is not used for anything else.
- Advertising signals. For non-subscribers, ad partners may read your device's advertising identifier and similar signals — but only after you respond to Apple's tracking prompt.
- Anonymous diagnostics. Aggregated usage events and crash logs that help us keep the app working. They are not tied to your identity.
2How we use it
Strictly to run and improve the app: powering search, playback, offline downloads, and AI generation; showing ads to non-subscribers; unlocking premium features for subscribers; and fixing crashes or rough edges.
3Advertising & tracking
Free users see ads served by Google AdMob. To do this, Google may process your advertising identifier, coarse location inferred from your IP, and how you interact with ads.
- We ask permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any identifier is used for personalized ads. Change it anytime in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- In regions that require it, a consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform) lets you decide how your data is used.
- Decline and you'll still see ads, just non-personalized ones.
- Subscribers see no ads, and no ad identifiers are collected for them.
More detail: Google AdMob & privacy.
4AI generation
When you generate music, cover art, or a title, your prompt is sent to Replicate, which runs the models and returns the result to your device. Please don't put personal or sensitive details in prompts. See Replicate's Privacy Policy.
5Who we rely on
- Apple — purchases and subscriptions (policy).
- Google AdMob & UMP — ads and consent for non-subscribers (policy).
- Google Firebase — anonymous analytics and crash reports (policy).
- Replicate — AI generation (policy).
- Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of our backend (policy).
6Keeping & deleting data
Because your content lives on your device, you stay in control: delete any download, playlist, or creation inside the app, or remove everything at once by uninstalling. AI prompts are processed only long enough to return a result. Ad and analytics data are retained by those providers under their own policies.
7Children
The app isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
8Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here and update the date above.
